TAFENSW Design Centre Enmore Interior Design and Decoration students have collaboratively provided several contemporary interior decoration schemes with a strong visual identity for the Theatre Royal in Lithgow with the hope to inspire change and find a commercially viable decorative solution to reinventing this iconic performance space in the heart of the Central West/Blue Mountains.

Queen Elizabeth Park Free Fitness camp

Live Life Get Active

Welcome to the Lithgow – Queen Elizabeth Park camp, which is located in the suburb of Lithgow, part of the Lithgow (City) Local Government Area. The camp is funded by Wentworth Healthcare and has been running since February 2020.

The Lithgow – Queen Elizabeth Park class is a free fitness camp open to all members of the public. There are the following activities on offer, Active X Training, Active Boxing, Active Yoga, and you can learn more about them below.

Sessions are available at 6:30 am and run Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday during school terms. For more details see the timetable below.

How to get started
To join this camp all you have to do is complete our registration form and book into as many classes as you like. All our classes are FREE and Registration takes about 10 mins. Click here to see more information and to register.

Australia Day Celebrations in Lithgow

Australia Day Celebrations

Lithgow’s Official Ceremony will be held at Queen Elizabeth Park from 10:00 to 11:00am. It includes a Citizenship Ceremony, the NSW Local Citizenship Awards and Sports Awards, and the Ambassador’s Address. Entertainment will be provided by the Lithgow City Band and Lithgow Highland Pipe Band. The Lions Club will serve delicious traditional homemade damper and tea prior to the event and a sausage sizzle afterwards, both free of charge.
Australia Day will be celebrated across the Lithgow region on Sunday 26th January with free activities and entertainment for everyone and with the Ambassador’s Address to be given by award winning author Susanne Gervay.
Susanne is part of the Kiribati Pacific Calling Fact Finding Delegation with Patrick Dobson father of indigenous reconciliation. She was invited to represent Australia with her story To East Timor – from Australia, in a IBBY and UNESCO sponsored illustrated anthology titled ‘Peace Story’. Her young adult novel ‘Butterflies’ is recognized as Outstanding Youth Literature on Disability. Her books, including picture books, give voice to inclusion, diversity and celebrate all Australians. Among the many distinguished awards for her work, Susanne Gervay was awarded an OAM for Children’s Literature.
