You never know what treasures you’ll find in Portland. Why not park your RV at Kremer Park and take some time to explore this charming little town. The dramatic Portland Foundations, formerly the site of the Portland Cement works, marks the past in a community that thrives on keeping the town moving forward. Call in and say hi to a local, they will make you feel at home.

Take a peek around the corner and uncover the signs of yesteryear that are discoverable throughout the town. The ‘Signs of Yesteryear’ are reproduced advertising signs ranging from 1895 to 1945 that offer the visitor a happy trip down memory lane. See if you can find at least 20 of them……

Kremer Park is RV Friendly accredited and facilities include toilets (limited opening hours), playground and is within walking distance of the town centre. Motor homes can stay up to 72 hours.

Nestled 10 minutes on the Bathurst side of Lithgow, Lake Wallace at Wallerawang or “Wang” as it is affectionately referred to by the locals is the perfect caravan and camping spot.

Lake Wallace is designated an RV friendly campground and is the ideal location to set and camp for a couple of days. Facilities include RV dump point, toilets and showers (open 24 hours), playground, BBQ facilities and off leash dog area. All grey water must be deposited of in the dump point.

Camping is allowed for a maximum of 48 hours in the designated areas. Contained campfires/naked flames must not exceed 1 metre x 1 metre in size and be raised from the ground in firepits. Please bring your own firewood and observe total fire bans.
Wallerawang Town Centre is only a ten minute walk or 2 minute drive for a meal and extra supplies.

An information bay is located at the entrance to Lake Wallace with suggestions of the multitude of things to see and do in the Lithgow destination.
