Family History Morning

Lithgow & District Family History Society is hosting a Family History Morning at the Lithgow Library & Learning Centre to promote National Family History Month. One of the guest speakers, Leonie Knapman, will share her memories of life as a coal miner’s daughter in Glen Davis. Family history comes to life as we uncover information about the lives of people and their relationship to other members of their community. The Society is keen to share what can be learnt during this process.
Hear Keith Painter speak about some of the interesting results of his research into James Padley and his extended family in his talk titled ‘Research byways I have wandered down’.
When: 11th August 2018, 9:00 am to 11:30am
Where: Lithgow Library & Learning Centre, 157 Main Street, Lithgow 2790
