Jenolan Caves House
Jenolan Caves House was built in 1896, and features 19th century grandeur and guestrooms with period decor. Relax in cosy Jeremiah’s Bar, and dine in the award-winning Chisolm’s Restaurant. Whether touring spectacular caves or not – Caves House is perfect for romance! For a modern, motel-style stay, try the Mountain Lodge, behind Caves House. Caves House and Mountain Lodge guests can opt for dinner, bed and breakfast packages. For a self-catered budget stay, a stroll from the caves, try the GateHouse backpacker lodge, also behind Caves House. For a self-catered stay, surrounded by kangaroos and tranquil bush, choose Jenolan Caves Cottages – all part of Jenolan’s wide choice of accommodation, for all needs and budget.
Our heritage-listed Chisolm’s Restaurant, upstairs in Caves House, is open for dinner seven days a week, serving ‘modern Australian’ cuisine, with a classic French flair. Our Head Chef leads an enthusiastic, hard-working team. Eating in the grand dining room is an experience in itself!
To dine at Chisolm’s, you don’t need to be an overnight guest. Simply drop in for a delicious dinner. During school holidays and on long weekends, we recommend you book ahead.
